We've Got Mail!

Hi, Y'all! St. Mary's Church in Laguna Beach sent us a letter. Here's what they said:

Dear Youth of Saint Anne's:

The Youth Group of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Laguna Beach, California invites you to join us for a week of service, fellowship and fun.

Although we are still planning for your visit and some things may change, we can tell you that we will welcome you on Monday, July 16th with a dinner in our Parish Hall. You can see the ocean from here.

The next day, we'll travel to Los Angeles to do work on behalf of World Vision. On its website, World Vision describes the work it does in Los Angeles as follows:

In this city of stark contrasts, World Vision has worked against poverty's destructive forces for more than 20 years. We partner with more than 800 local churches and faith-based organizations to support and unite local leaders, offer essential family supplies and job assistance, and walk alongside at-risk children and youth.

Most nights, we will be returning to Laguna Beach to have dinner on some of the local beaches. Bring a sweater or sweatshirt since it becomes quite chilly in this tropical environment. We may stay in Los Angeles one night and see some sights around Hollywood.

After a week of working in Los Angeles, we'll visit Disneyland on Saturday as well as do some surfing early in the morning.

We are all excited to meet you, work with you, and have fun together. See you soon!

God Bless,

St. Mary's Youth Group
